A HUGE THANKS to TIM SANCHEZ of ROCK-ON MOTORSPORTS for the pictures from Cedar City!!  Our camera died on Thursday at Tech Inspection and Tim was kind enough to loan us his backup.  Tim is the photographer providing all the great same-day coverage for OFFROAD.COM.  Tim is a great guy who works his butt off for the world of off-road racing and the press coverage of all the great events!!!

Larry "King Full Pull" McRae driving #80 in the absence of Jon Bundrant was looking great today!

Rapid City SD's Jason Paule was proud of the job Rockrunner Racing was turning in. One of his rigs driven by Tracy Jorday had low score for the day!

The UROC monolith's made the site very easy to find! NICE

Team Sisson, Garrett and Matt discussing possible lines on the next obstacle

Becca Webster in her Red Bull RockHer. No sissy girl here!! She's TOUGH!!

Look at the off-camber Becca is in here! YES she saved it....

The Pro-Nationals midway was hopping!!!

Jason Bunch and his spotter Steve Hastings from California were once again driving the "Rent a Wreck" as the new RockStar 2 isn't quite ready yet........

Team Extreme Joel Randall and Mike VoKoun were staging an awesome assault on the rock......

Mike holding the rig in position as Joel drives into position missing the cones and scoring well on this obstacle.....

"Fuel" interviewing Rob Bonney in the Rancho/4 Wheelers rig from Phoenix AZ

Nick Sessions was quietly working the rock and turning in respectible scores. Hoping for a better day tomorrow though.

Campbell Enterprises finished up the new "MoonWalker" rig for Walker Evans and spotter Ted LeBaron. They too are looking for a better day tomorrow as a roll over held them out of the top placing today.

Is Walker going to save it?????

NOPE.... Gravity wins again!!

Larry Trim from Everett Washington was pounding the rocks in the TrailReady rig

Matt and Garett Sisson showed up from Farmington NM in a new, updated "Tracy's Diamond". Their day wasn't what they wanted and we are looking forward to their comeback tomorrow here in Cedar City

Becca Webster in the Red Bull RockHer is "Ready For Launch".............

Don Robbins has teamed up with his super-strong brother from Phoeinx, Paul. The team and rig show great promise!!

Tim Donaldson, spotter for Chris Durham contemplating the day one results and the hope for a better day tomorrow......

Aaron Clough was having a good day. Shannon still claims to score better when she drives though........

On his last obstacle of the day, B-5 we heard a horrendous "BANG" from Rob Bonney's Rancho rig. Wound up taking out the ring and pinion and they were already beginning to make repairs so they can continue tomorrow.

Chris Durham had his mother and grandmother at this event all the way from Pickens SC. Wasn't the performance he planned on though. Besides numerous rollovers, he also had to make some frame repairs following the final obstacle of the day. Tomorrow will be better for this great team.........

A radical departure from his previous rig, Matt Peterson (Rockware) is liking the new rig. His usual spotter Paul Curoe unable to attend this weekend.

Just about says it all.........

The New York/Pennsylvania duo were one of the last to try the UROC line on obstacle B-3 for the day.

Mitch Guthrie may have had a disaster on B-5 with his rollover but he made up for it by topping the 20 bonus point UROC line on B-3. We prepare for a great day 2 tomorrow here in Cedar City!!!
